What is the difference between Paper Street Teas flavored teas and other flavored teas from the store?
| Paper Street Teas teas are made from the highest quality loose leaf teas and herbs. Most store brands use bottom of the barrel tea in their tea bags. |
How many cups does 1oz. make?
| 1oz .of tea can make 10-12 cups of tea depending on how strong you want your brew, the type of tea, and of course, the size of your cup. The standard cup size in the tea world is 5.5oz. |

How much caffeine is in a cup of tea?
The amount of caffeine can vary greatly depending on the type of tea. Here is a list of average caffeine levels in the same amount of different beverages and tea types.

Are the bags I receive my teas in suitable for long term storage?
| Yes, they are suitable for long term storage under good conditions. Our polyvinyl packaging is resealable and comes heat-sealed when you first receive them. Please remember to keep tea away from heat, moisture, and open air. |
Will you have more flavors and other types of teas?
| Yes, we are constantly taste testing teas that we feel meet our high quality standards. If there are types of teas or flavors that you would like us to sell, please contact us. |
Can I special order flavors? Is there a list I can view?
| Currently, we do not do special orders unless they are bulk orders. If you have a tea you would like us to order please contact us. |

Why do we ask for your birthdate when signing up for an account?
| We ask for your birthdate because we plan to send out special offers to people on their birthdays as a way of saying congratulations. This information is not required and is entirely optional. |
Will my personal information be used or sold?
| Your personal information will be kept private as discussed in our privacy policy. You will only receive information from Paper Street Teas and Paper Street Teas related products. |
Why is there no option to choose my credit card type during the checkout process?
| Our e-commerce software automatically determines the credit card type from the credit card number. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards. |
Why does my credit card keep getting rejected even though all the information is correct?
| Please make sure the billing address you have entered matches the billing address on your credit card. In order to preven fraud and protect our customers we have strict security measures in place. |
What are the restrictions on the $5 coupon?
| The $5 coupon can only be used once per customer and cannot be combined with any other discounts. The $5 does not apply towards shipping and handling charges or tax. Any unused amount will not be credited towards your account. |

Purchasing Gift Certificates
| Gift Certificates are purchased just like any other item in our store. You can pay for them using the stores standard payment method(s). Once purchased the value of the Gift Certificate will be added to your own personal Gift Certificate Account. If you have funds in your Gift Certificate Account, you will notice that the amount now shows in he Shopping Cart box, and also provides a link to a page where you can send the Gift Certificate to some one via email. |
How to send Gift Certificates
| To send a Gift Certificate you need to go to our Send Gift Certificate Page. You can find the link to this page in the Shopping Cart Box in the right hand column of each page. When you send a Gift Certificate, you need to specify the following. The name of the person you are sending the Gift Certificate too. The email address of the person you are sending the Gift Certificate too. The amount you want to send. (Note you don\'t have to send the full amount that is in your Gift Certificate Account.) A short message which will apear in the email. Please ensure that you have entered all of the information correctly, although you will be given the opportunity to change this as much as you want before the email is actually sent. |
Buying with Gift Certificates
| If you have funds in your Gift Certificate Account, you can use those funds to purchase other items in out store. At the checkout stage, an extra box will appear. Ticking this box will apply those funds in your Gift Certificate Account. Please note, you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Gift Certificate Account to cover the cost of your purchase. If you have more funds in your Gift Certificate Account than the total cost of your purchase the balance will bel left in you Gift Certificate Account for the future. |
Redeeming Gift Certificates
If you receive a Gift Certificate by email it will contain details of who sent you the Gift Certificate, along with possibly a short message from them. The Email will also contain the Gift Certificate Number. It is probably a good idea to print out this email for future reference. You can now redeem the Gift Certificate in two ways.
1. By clicking on the link containe within the email for this express purpose. This will take you to the store\'s Redeem Certificate page. you will the be requested to create an account, before the Gift Certificate is validated and placed in your Gift Certificate Account ready for you to spend it on whatever you want.
2. During the checkout procces, on the same page that you select a payment method there will be a box to enter a Redeem Code. Enter the code here, and click the redeem button. The code will be validated and added to your Gift Certificate account. You Can then use the amount to purchase any item from our store. |

How to make a perfect cup of tea (hot)
Black Teas
| Prepare with boiling water, and brew for five minutes. Recommended ratio is one teaspoon of leaves per cup of water. |
Green Teas
| Prepare with water that is cooler-than-boiling (180F) and brew for three minutes. Recommended ratio is one teaspoon per cup of water for the relatively heavy Japanese greens (Sencha) and slightly more for the light Chinese greens. |
Oolong Teas
| Dark oolong teas taste best when prepared with boiling water, and brewed for seven minutes. Dark oolong leaves tend to be voluminous, and the recommended ratio is two teaspoon of leaves per cup of water. Lighter oolong teas taste best when prepared with water that is cooler-than-boiling (180F) and brewed for three to five minutes. Recommended ratio is one teaspoon per cup of water. |
Herbal and Rooibos Teas
| Prepare with boiling water, and brew for up to seven minutes. Recommended ratio is one teaspoon of leaves (or fruits) per cup of water. |
How to make a perfect cup of iced tea
To make a great cup of iced tea, use 1/3 cup of water and 2/3 ice.
