This is a great tea with a great legend behind it. It isn't like anything I've tried before and I liked it a lot. The dry tea is even better looking than the picture and the brewed tea is fantastic.

This was much tastier than I expected. A very Japanese green tea flavor. Quite enjoyable. Goes well with food.

I love genmai. Psteas' genmai is good - better than at least one other tea store's that I've tried.

This is an excellent tea. Earl Grey used to be my favorite, but this one is my new #1. It makes me think of home. The aroma is very soothing and inviting, and the tea is very tasty. It's particularly good with chocolate. :)
If you let the leaves steep too long, your brew will become bitter. So keep it to 3 minutes, max--the tea starts as a pale yellow, and becomes more deeply golden as it gets stronger. Stir the tea while waiting for the flavor to develop, and keep your eye on the color.

I love that I can create my own blends using the tea lab. I wish I could get more than 1 cup out of my samples though, like 2 or 3 so I would know if I like it or not. But I do like that I can name my own tea and see it on the labels. My friends would laugh at the names of the teas, and I would tell them I made it up and how I created the blend. They\'d stop laughing and want to know how to make their own! - sandra
