This tea is tasty. However, it has a certain smoky flavor which you might enjoy or you might not. I'm kind of up in the air about it. Very nice golden brown color and the leaves bloom nicely at the bottom of the cup...or in a tea ball (although it's hidden).

Steeps very nicely, with a rich golden brown color. There is a strong smokey aroma and taste to it at first, but actually tastes great. A very bold tea that is similar to the pinhead gunpowder, but maybe a little bit more "smokey".

This gunpowder tea is perfection. I love to watch the leaves unfurl and the smell is amazing. One of my favorite Teas!

I liked the tea and the service although I had some problems during the checkout process, one call to their customer service got that squared away. As for the packaging, I wasn\'t too thrilled about it, but the teas more than made up for it. If I could issue a score, I would give them an overall 4 out of 5 stars for their service and tea. I would have given them a 5 if it wasnt for the tea tins. But I love the site and I will never be tealirious again.
